We had a great time up north and our weekend is still going! We built some fires in the fireplace - probably our favorite thing! - and went out to eat and went to Judy Garland's birthplace in Grand Rapids and did a little shopping. Now back home but headed to the Mall of America today - fun!

Progress with Jack - he now blows his own nose. He used to run get the kleenex and bring it to us. He never wanted to wipe himself, so this is exciting! Funny the things that make you excited as a parent!

Ava is starting to smile when she sees us. I think when we get past the infancy stage, she will be an easygoing happy child. She still gets unhappy every 20 minutes or so it seems like during the day, so I don't know what that's all about. BUT she does still sleep overnight!
