Apartment Decorating - So much fun! It's a start anyway...

"Adventure is out there!"

If you know this quote, you know it is from the Disney Pixar movie UP which is about an older man who always regretted not taking his wife on her dream adventure trip so ends up doing it on his own with a tagalong adventurer. And of course, by the end of the movie, it is revealed that she left him a message thanking him for the adventure of their marriage and life.

Our lives have completely changed in the last few months. God has led us in a new direction and we are not sure exactly what He has planned for us yet. So as of now, we have moved back to the twin cities and are attending Fourth Baptist Church and Christian School in Plymouth this year. So we sold and gave away lots of things that made up our 5 bedroom farmhouse and put some things in storage and moved with no job for Matt and no place to live. My wonderful parents helped us by allowing us to stay with them for a couple of months while we got our feet under us and were so accommodating and loving that my heart is full thinking of all they did.

But in the meantime, Matt got a job with FedEx Freight and I started work in the school as a teacher's aide/substitute, and the kids are settling in really well. Jack is in 6th grade, and Ava is in 3rd grade. We also moved into a two bedroom apartment close to the church and school, and although it's not my dream house, it has been really nice to have a place close to school and also fun to decorate a new place and also kind of nice that it has good space but is much smaller and easier to keep clean than the farmhouse.  It was a scary and tough decision, but also peaceful and exciting. We have had lots of prayer support and love from our family and friends, and for that we are so grateful.  Here are a few pictures to catch up on our doings.
