tomorrow! If I were still pregnant, it would seem like two months at least; but once they are born, the time seems to fly! Ava Jane is already trying to hold her head up and is opening her eyes more. She is sleeping most of the time and wakes up to eat for a little bit and then goes back to sleep. So overnights while not the most fun are not too bad considering.
I am feeling great. This delivery and recovery has gone much easier than Jack's, and I am so thankful for that. I'm excited and ready to get back to normal life with our new member of the family. I have always said I'm not really a baby person, but she is so much fun really! She lets me comfort her and responds to me, and that is nice.
Jack has been so helpful and out of the blue wanted to start dressing himself and really seems to love her. With her being asleep a lot of the time, we are able to give him lots of attention; and I love that. I really missed him while I was in the hospital.
Matt started working Sunday to Thursday overnights. It is sort of an adjustment for him, but he is doing it. He always does whatever it takes in his job to provide for us, and I am thankful for that. He is the best husband to me and I am very blessed!
I am enjoying the fact that it is still summer and we can get out and enjoy some things. So now four weeks until the State Fair! Really can't wait! Love love love it!
