Kids and Christmas

It warmed up and the kids built a snowman. Of course the next day, all that was left was the hat and scarf. Ha!
Ava wants "yegos" and Jack wants a puppy and an Air Hog Laser Racer. Hmmm.

Sledding!
Brent and Heidi came last week and we all had so much fun with them. AND they brought Maddie and Kimber. I wish I would have taken more pictures, but of course we were having too much fun that I didn't think about it! Brent, Matt and Kimber went hunting (unfortunately didn't kill anything) and the rest of us and Maddie went sledding. Ava was a little nervous, but once she tried it, she loved it. She found a perfect sized little hill and worked her way around. With Heidi's help and coaxing of course. It was a very relaxing weekend!

Puppet show
The kids have been making puppets and put on a puppet show yesterday as Jack says, "producted by Jack and Ava". I think we will be seeing a few more shows since they loved putting it on and we were encouraging!
Happy Thanksgiving!
We had a wonderful family time last week even though the drive up was a little scary. Once we got there, the weather settled down and was fine. We celebrated Brent's birthday Wednesday, had our Thanksgiving meal and family time on Thursday, and then did some shopping later Thursday and Friday. I'm still tired! I'm already excited to get back and have Christmas! But first, I guess there's a few more Christmasy things that need to happen! No sense rushing through it. I will just enjoy!

My baby brother is now in his 30s! It's nice! We had a good time celebrating him last week. He's a great brother and takes our teasing very well.
