Ava is 6 weeks old. I had my checkup yesterday, and I am okay! Healing well and don't have to go back to the doctor for another year. We are all adjusting little by little. Matt's schedule, Ava's schedule, etc. But we are making it! Ava actually is doing well overnights mostly getting up once or twice now. It is also fun to see that even at this age how much she likes to interact. You sort of think newborns just lie around when really they are very interactive sometimes. And it has been fun to get my first smile from her yesterday. She has smiled, but this time she looked at me and smiled and every time I talked to her, she would smile again! So fun!
So now all of a sudden, everyone around me is pregnant! I'm glad I'm not!
Church was great last week with our special meetings! It was really such a blessing and very needed. So now we are enjoying the fair for another week, and then reality will hit since we are supposed to start a diet next week! EEK!
PS Ava slept through the night! YAY! Went to bed around 9 and didn't wake up until 7:30. I hope that keeps up, but I don't want to get my hopes up.
