With all of the snow we have had, it has been hard to get together for birthdays and really to celebrate anything properly. We missed Oliver's birthday, but here are some pictures they sent to us. We celebrated mom, dad, and Matt all together along with our and my parent's anniversary. We had our own celebration around here for Matt and also for our 15th anniversary. We went to an amazing steak place called Bergen's. So good! Lots of things happening even with snow trying to get in the way!

My Girls
My study hall girls from last year are seniors this year and will be graduating soon! We have been able to get together a few times for birthdays and special occasions. They always are uplifting and fun! I was able to go to their art and music competition, and they did well with Sydnie singing and playing her violin, Paige getting Best in Show for her photography, Audrey 3rd in sculpture, and they all got ribbons for academic testing. Lillie is at a different school this year, but came along to support them. I added a couple of pictures from her basketball team winning 3rd in their tournament! So it was a success, and we celebrated with Punch Pizza and Rebekah!
Spring is finally here...we hope!
It is end of April and we are finally feeling like spring may be here almost! We still have lots of snow that needs to melt. With the weather warmer, it should happen soon. So then it's muddy, but that's ok. We will take it!! For the most part, we have hunkered down in our house this winter. It's a nice, warm place to hunker down, but still feels better to get out and about. So I will try to catch up on all we have been up to .

Pensacola II
We happened to go to the church at Pensacola Christian College and were able to see two of the kids' teachers through their video school. Mrs. Chappell is Ava's teacher, but Jack actually had her in 2nd grade as well. Here she is with her husband and daughter who she talks about in her classes. And then below that is Miss Amsbaugh who teaches 4 of Jack's classes in 5th grade. What a special treat, and they were so kind and gracious to us. And then I was able to go to Baskin Robbins before we left, one thing I miss about the south .
Pensacola
We were able to go to Pensacola to see some church friends who live there part-time. They fed us and gave up their bedroom, and took us to the beach and we just had a great time with them and their kids and grandkids who live next door. It really was a gift of time to spend these extra days in Florida since we love it there and also to see family and friends. What a great trip!
